A 2015 graduate of Cal Arts, Gifford spent six years  in post production for series such as HBO‘s Divorce, Netflix’s celebrated series Queen’s Gambit directed by Scott Frank and starring Anna Taylor-Joy, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, and Bupkis starring Pete Davidson and Joe Pesci.  Giff also helmed the technical side of our 5 LIVE Zoom productions during the pandemic: Grudges, Satellite Tables, Within the Context of No Context, Genealogy, and Keeping Right.

In July of 2023, he directed filmed versions of scenes from Knowledge Workings Theater’s very first production, Alms before taking on the technical and artistic direction of The Jester’s Wife and HONOR. His most recent work for KWT is directing the 2025 premiere of RETROSPECTIVE as part of the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival. A dazzling Brooklynite, Giff is also the frequent host of the wildly popular and provocative Srivia at Singers in Bed-Stuy on Wednesdays.
